Summary:
Lead all personnel on site during shift regarding all aspects of the ethanol and co-product production in the plant. Coordinate team member activities to assure safety, production, and quality standards are maintained at the highest levels.

Essential Functions:
Schedule, monitor and oversee the daily tasks of the Maintenance production personnel on a specific shift.
Perform hands on Maintenance operations as required. Delegate additional duties as the need arises.
Exercise good judgment in determining any changes needed for the Maintenance Department.
Be alert to the causes and effects of all operating changes made.
Understanding of the entire process and know what action to take when equipment failures occur.
Train all production Maintenance personnel on new procedures and inform them of changes to current procedures.
Cross train all Maintenance personnel team members for effective coverage.
Develop and/or recommend training schedules for each employee to the Operations Maintenance Manager.
Initiate Work Requests in the CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management software) as they are determined.
Ensure that all production Maintenance personnel are using the company required Personal Protective Equipment and following safety regulations and be alert to potential safety issues.
Properly document and report any accidents and/or injuries.
Prepare all logbooks, transfer sheets and inventory sheets in an accurate and complete manner.
Review completed work orders and ensure all documentation is entered in the CMMS. Process all maintenance reports as needed.
Suggest disciplinary action of production personnel as dictated in the personnel policy manual to the Maintenance Operations Manager and General Manager.
Maintain the plant in a Tour Ready condition at all times; Complete daily round sheets after inspection.
Communicate with Operations maintenance department to schedule required Maintenance projects.
Coordinate activities of shift maintenance crew.
Other duties as may be assigned to accomplish the safe and timely operations within the plant.
Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner. Must participate in sub-committee activities: Safety, Quality, Preventative Maintenance, Operations and Leadership.

Qualifications:
Two years of manufacturing leadership experience in chemical, other wet industrial or ethanol operations.
Familiar with CMMS; Knowledge of equipment, machinery and facility electrical
High School or equivalent education.
Excellent written, verbal and personal skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Ability to lead in team environment
Must be available for on call schedule and flexible to work other shifts as assigned.
Self motivated and ability to work independently; Ability to manage others in a team environment

Ability to lift safely and carry 50lbs; Ability to routinely climb ladders and stairs.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
