As a key member of the management team, the Commodities Coordinator will have a passion for driving results. He/she will play a critical role in developing the culture and laying the groundwork for the commercial function and the business as a whole, such that the goals in terms of Safety, Corporate Social Responsibility, Volumes, Revenues, and Margins are achieved, with a key objective of developing sustainable growth. Entering the business at the grass roots, provides a unique opportunity to develop the role into a more senior position.
Participate in & implement the development of a risk management strategy for feedstock, grain, co-products and ethanol that ensures effective risk management and effectively analyze market trends.
Work with commercial partners to develop and execute a contract strategy for feedstock that is consistent with agreed risk management strategy, & maximises available returns to the business
With the CEO, develop relationships with commercial partners, & the local agricultural community to maximize local feedstock inputs, including developments of other grains
Work with the local team to explore opportunities to build unique product positioning for DDGS and feed products to farmer/customer base
Interface with the plant to ensure that specifications and volumes are meeting customer requirements
Work with commercial partners to develop and execute a contract strategy for ethanol
Manage key purchasing contracts for organization, eg gas, electricity & steam
Nurture on-going relationship development with utilities suppliers, & other critical suppliers, eg yeast, enzymes, .

Qualifications:
Any Bachelor's Degree is acceptable, but preferably in business, financial, or numerate subjects, An Undergraduate degree in Agri-Economics or a Master's Degree in Business Administration is preferred.
At least 4 years' experience in Agri trading commodities, preferably associated with a plant in the ethanol industry
Experienced at developing Agri-industry opportunities
Must be proficient with Excel & business information systems & able to analyze data & produce reports to facilitate short & long term decision-making

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
