Position Title:AdvanSix Construction Leader
External Description:
Responsibilities of Position:
Manages the Advansix Capital Execution construction management organization across all sites. This includes Construction Managers, Construction Engineers, and technical specialists.
The ASIX Construction leader ensures the construction team supports all phases of the Capital Project Management Process as required and provides direct leadership of the team.
Subject matter expert for ASIX on construction mgmt. and leads a team of CM's and tech specialists to drive construction execution across all 4 ASIX sites.
Drives ASIX construction management standards across all sites and drives continuous improvement in our work processes.
Ensures CM team is engaged and involved in "Project Scoping" which includes assistance in the development of the field staffing plan.( on large projects), development of project schedules, review project schedules, evaluate permit requirements, research labor staffing availability, assist with plant outage requirements, review project execution documentation, and assist in cost estimate development and associated estimate reviews.
Ensures CM team is engaged and active in the "Project Design" phase which includes Conducting periodic design/constructability reviews at the design house.(large projects or when needed), Lead constructability effort, Assist in developing construction strategy, Review field construction bid packages.
Ensures CM team is engaged and active in key Capital Procurement activities such as Contractor evaluations, pre?proposal meetings, assist in answering construction related pre proposal RFI's (request for information) from contractors, proposal reviews for field construction packages.
Ensuring CM teams Lead pre-construction meetings with successful contractor(s), answer or facilitate answering all contractor RFI's, and assisting with maintenance of stored equipment. Ensure CM teams are the Single point of contact for contractors.
Ensure CM teams execute daily coordination of construction activities with contractors, operations, I/E construction, and maintenance, be the liaison between operations, maintenance and other contractors on site.
SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL ? Lead the CM team efforts to improve construction safety performance and compliance with all ASIX standards.
SCHEDULE ? Ensure CM teams coordinate independent contractor schedule milestones to maintain the overall project schedule. Drive construction schedule effort. Report schedule deviations to the Project Engineer/Manager and conduct 2 week schedule look-ahead meetings.
Ensure CM teams collaborate with project managers and project controls to insure the use of and approval of Extra Work Orders (EWO's). Track EWO's as a % of base contract amount. Generate and report field "Cost Trend" log information. Track costs, control dollars expended on work orders, close work orders at job completion. Initiate contract change orders. Review progress payment invoices and estimate percent complete verses percent billed. Collaborate with project managers. Track Time and Material sheets on timely basis and report to project manager.
Commissioning and Startup ? Ensure CM personnel review the project Management of Change, manage the field Redline as built drawings and pass to project engineer, participate in PSSR's, complete PSSR punch list pertaining to construction. Participate in the project critique. List construction lessons and pass to regional construction leader for posting on engineering web site. Lead / participate in Contractor Performance Rating for each of the major

Basic Qualifications:
BS in Engineering or construction management required.
Minimum 15 years experience in chemical and or petro chemical industry is required.
Additional Qualifications:

Experience using SAP is desired.
Track record of successfully supporting the similar size organization and investment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
