Manager Education - RN/Registered Nurse

SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Directs the daily clinical operations of assigned area(s) of responsibility and recommends sufficient number of qualified competent persons to provide clinical education. Participates in outside source selection for needed services.



  1. Responsible for the needs assessment of clinical staff, the design and facilitation of new and ongoing clinical programs and education plans, including needed resources, and evaluates implementation and effectiveness of said clinical education programs for nurse/clinical education and development.



  1. Integrates department services with the hospital's primary function, maintaining communication with clinical staff and administration. Coordinates and integrates clinical education plans into all nursing/clinical departments.



  1. Operates with a strong connection to the CNO of John Randolph Medical Center in strategy and provision of clinical educational programs.



  1. Develops strategic and tactical plans for creating and maintaining an effective Transition to Practice orientation/mentor program for new nurse/clinical graduates, including, but not limited to preceptor development.



  1. Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support provision of clinical education services. Supervises clinical educators and validates ongoing clinical educator competency and professional development.



  1. Continual assessment of clinical education's performance and actions for improvement.



  1. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies.



  1. Develops yearly goals and objectives for clinical excellence and participates in development of strategic goals and objectives for the nursing/clinical educators.



  1. Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Vice President of Human Resources, and in conjunction with CNO.


Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: MSN degree is required, PhD or DNP preferred. Considerations will be given to those individuals currently enrolled in a graduate degree program. Specialty Certification is required.
LICENSURE: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Virginia as a registered nurse.
EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years current nursing experience; two (2) years of management experience required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
