RN/Registered Nurse Educator Lead - Service Excellence

SPECIFICELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Partners with facility leadership inmanaging organizational effectiveness efforts including: service excellence, clinical education needsassessment and design, competency modeling, curriculum development, clinical developmentand learning systems, change management, selection and performance managementinitiatives.
Oversees hospital educators inimproving process and documentation in the areas of: Competency Evaluation,Orientation, Needs Assessment; Performance Improvement, Joint Commission Compliance,Preceptor Development and Continuing Education.
In participation with management:Develops implements and coordinates integrated competency based systems andassessment tools to identify developmental needs. Designs overall strategy, curriculum andprogram plan for continuing leadership and staff personal effectivenessdevelopment.
Evaluates and recommends new learningplatforms. Consults with facility customers in identifying innovative, creativeand cost effective solutions to enhance learning programs.
Participates in multiple hospital widecommittees and projects; makes professional presentations outside standard curriculumas needed. Markets the services of the education department and overseesadvertising of programs offered.
Evaluates/Designs/Provides/coordinatesorientation/training programs, in-service education, and other educationalprograms for the development of the clinical staff.
Actively participates in continuing self-developmentand professional growth. Maintains knowledge of current clinical practices,trends and tools.
Responsible for leading serviceexcellence initiatives throughout facility.

EXPERIENCE
Required
3-5 years of experience as an RN in aneducation or staff development role.
Candidate must be well organized withexcellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitation skills, andproven ability to design, teach, and lead the organized clinical training/developmentprograms.
Excellent computer skills, includingMicrosoft Office Suite
Preferred
A minimum of 3-5 years of progressiveexperience in healthcare, service related industry or communications.
EDUCATION
Required
Graduate of an accredited school ofnursing with a current license as an RN in the State of Virginia
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Preferred
Master's Degree or currently enrolledin a study obtaining a Master's Degree in Education, Nursing, HealthAdministration, or related field
Provenexperience in program design and facilitation

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
