The Manager of Facilities Management assists in planning, organizing, and coordinating activities within the Facilities Management department and PBX. Responsibilities will be to provide services, repair and maintenance necessary to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the hospital. Other duties and responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a comfortable physical environment for patients, employees, medical staff and the public in accordance with hospital policies, budgetary requirements, and applicable local, state and federal building, safety and hospital codes.

  • Oversee responsibilities for construction and renovation projects as well as miscellaneous projects performed by either the in-house staff or outside contractors as required.

  • Serve and participate on committees and task forces as requested.

  • Assist in the oversight of proper function and maintenance of the building, grounds and equipment.

  • Communicate with other departments as conditions dictate.

  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of staff.

  • Monitor employees to ensure a safe and healthful working environment.

  • Participate in State, Local, Joint Commission and OSHA surveys.

  • Responsible for Department Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement activities.

  • Coordinate and manage all space requirements and moves.

  • Oversee proper function and maintenance of the building and equipment as applicable.

  • Perform facility audits to power plant equipment and utility systems and oversee department tools and machinery.

  • Supervise, train and orient staff to facility equipment, policies and procedures.

  • Oversee the appropriate services and supplies related to power plant equipment and utility systems.


Qualifications:
EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Facilities (preferred)


EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Hospital Plant Operations Supervisory and Environment of Care experience (required)

  • Hospital experience and ASHE certification (preferred)

  • Knowledge of Join Commission standards (required)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
