Sr Process Engineer

  Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Process Engineer to join our Ashland Specialty Ingredients business at our Hopewell, VA site. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Engineering function. This position will report to the Process Technology Manager. Description The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Organize and lead cross-functional teams to identify unit performance gaps Determines root cause of chronic operating problems and assists in implementing solutions Investigates opportunities to improve plant through-put and alternate raw materials for cost and quality improvements Provides technical support for capital projects including investigating new equipment Develop capital project justifications, conceptual design and lead assigned projects Process design to support Plant Expansions Consults with other Engineers as a SME on specific type of chemical engineering unit operation or other sub-discipline Assists in the technical development of engineering staff through mentoring and informal training of less experienced Engineers Actively participates in area Safety team Qualifications In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: BS in Chemical Engineering 15+years of chemical manufacturing experience; 5-10+ years of plant or project engineering Must have demonstrated experience in the following areas: project leadership in a team-based environment, the ability to apply data based problem solving techniques and the use of statistical quality improvement methodologies Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit: Aspen Plus process modeling, Process Design, Commissioning and Start-Up leadership, Mass Transfer, Fluid Flow, Heat Transfer, Distillation, and Reaction Engineering Previous experience with Control Systems Previous experience in Production Operations Hazard Analysis - HAZOP, PHA, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO Systems Team Player with excellent written and oral communications Proven data analysis and problem solving skills Proven planning and organization skills Execute projects as part of a team, as a team leader or independently Proven self-starter with urgency for delivering results                                                    2018-7424

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
